Abdul is a compassionate and highly skilled Critical Care Paramedic with more than 18 years’ experience providing emergency care to critically ill and injured patients in pre-hospital settings. Over the past five years, he has specialised in critical care and aviation medicine, completing medical evacuations around the world and gaining extensive flight experience.
His career in emergency medicine began with Emergency Care Assistant training. He progressed to Ambulance Technician and then Registered Paramedic before undertaking specialist education and certification in critical care paramedicine.
Abdul has trained and worked in demanding pre-hospital environments across the United States, South Africa and Europe. He is experienced in managing complex medical emergencies and traumatic injuries, and is respected for his calm judgement, clinical expertise and commitment to patient-centred care.
